What is your durapoly and how is it different from other laminate?
Simply put, our proprietary durapoly material is a sustainable, more resilient paper substitute. This substrate is a waterproof, tear proof, recyclable menu that will last much longer than your typical card stock or laminate. Our durapoly is also layered with ultra-fresh antimicrobial treatment to help keep your menus germ free.
What do I need to check to make sure my file is print-ready?
You need to first make sure you uploaded a PDF file. Then make sure any images on the design have a quality of 300 PPI (pixels per inch) or higher. Double check you are using CMYK color space (for print color) as opposed to RGB (for digital color). Lastly, check your trim size to make sure it includes another 1/4” to account for bleed.
Do I need to create an account to order menus?
No, you do not need to create an account to order menus. You only need to provide your email for us to send you a confirmation of the order. However, you gain access to additional perks if you create an account. With an account, you can check out faster, save multiple shipping addresses, access your previous order history, and enjoy other benefits.
What does the safe area, margin, and bleed mean?
The safe area is the part of the menu that will not be affected by any cutting. The margin is the part of the menu where we recommend you avoid placing any text or designs, as it could get trimmed off during cutting. The bleed is the extra part that will be cut off when we print the menus. If your menu is not white and does not extend into the bleed section, there is a chance it will have a slight white border around the edges. Be mindful of any text or borders near the edge of the menu. Ensure that any borders or colors extend through the safe area and margin into the bleed.
Why does it say my file is too small when it matches the exact size of the menu I want?
When uploading for a specific size, it is recommended that your actual PDF margins be 1/4” (0.125” per side) larger to account for the bleed. If your size is not 1/4” larger, we will zoom to fit those margins, but we cannot guarantee that any text or designs beyond the safe areas of your menu will not be affected.
